DIVERSITY BALL 2010
MILTON KEYNES EQUALITY COUNCIL has joined forces with MK Citizen to stage the 2nd Diversity Ball
on
20TH MARCH 2010 - 6.30 pm till late.
The Diversity Ball includes dinner and dance plus diverse/cultural entertainment, Mr Diverse competition and an evening of glamour and fun! 
Bought back by public demand!
 
All proceeds raised will fund race and equality work in Milton Keynes - which is for a good cause.
Navrita Atwal, Director for Milton Keynes Equality Council said that there are over 100 diverse community groups in the city and over 80 languages are spoken.  The diverse population of the city stands at 18%. 
 
Milton Keynes Equality Council are calling all community groups and artists who would like to express and interest in performing at the Ball.  Auditions will be held on 27th and 28th February 2010, at the Ramada Encore,
Central Milton Keynes.
 
2008 Diversity Ball attracted a diverse community of 660 guests and the tickets were sold within two weeks. 
 
Sponsorship opportunities available including sponsoring of community group tables at the Ball.
 
Sponsors include:  The Citizen, ASK MK.TV, Ramada Encore, MK Dons, Race and Equality Solutions:UK,  Milton Keynes Council.
 
We only have 300 tickets - so avoid disappointment please book early!!!!

5k fun run and family sports day
Sunday 7 June

This 5k run set in the beautiful surroundings of Battersea Park, offers a fun introduction to running for all abilities and the chance to go for a fast time for more experienced runners.

Following the 5k there will be running events for under 13s, entertainers, goody bags and medals for everyone so whether you want to walk, jog or run - sign up today!
